Friend from the States (GTO)
| Our friend Linsey called and informed us that his friends from the States wish to visit the kids in the mountain and wish to help build some thing for the hostel. They arrived on July 10, 2008. We left Chiangmai and drove to Tee Kay Kee village, Omkoi township, Chiangmai province. |

ลินซี่ เพื่อนเราแจ้งมาว่า กลุ่มเพื่อนของเขาจากสหรัฐฯประสงค์ที่จะมาเยี่ยมเด็กๆบนดอย และช่วยเรื่องการก่อสร้าง ให้กับหอพักเท่าที่ทำได้คณะนี้มาถึงเชียงใหม่เมื่อ วันที่ 10 กรกฏาคม 2008และเราออกเดินทางไปยังหมู่บ้านทีเกะคีเป็นหมู่บ้านแรกในวันเดียวกัน |

เราไปถึงหมู่บ้านที่เกะคีในเวลา สี่ทุ่มครึ่ง |
| At Tee Kay Kee we noticed that the boys hostel and part of the dining hall partially ready. Young people from GTO came an worked on part of the dining building. Due to the day and night rain, They could not finish the work and the villagers had to finish part of it. |

เมื่อ เราไปถึงที่เกะคีเที่ยวนี้ หอพักเด็กชายและโรงอาหารมีหลังคาเป็นกระเบี้องแล้ว (ก่อนหน้านี้เป็นใบตองตึงที่คลุมด้วยผ้าใบ) ทราบมาว่าเยาวชนจากกลุ่มจีทีโอได้มา เพื่อจะสร้างอาคารโรงอาหาร แต่เนื่องจากช่วงที่มา เป็นช่วงที่ฝนตกมากจนทำอะไรไม่ได้ ในที่สุดชาวบ้านบางส่วน มาช่วยกันจนได้โรงอาหารที่มีหลังคาเรียบร้องดังภาพ |

| When the team saw the kids played early in the morning they joined and played together with the kids. |

Because of the finished roof, We are happy that the kids can now dine under the shade. |
| เมื่อคณะเห็นเด็กๆเล่นกันอยู่หน้าหอพักในยามเช้า คณะส่วนหนึ่ง จึงเข้าไปขอร่วมเล่นกับเด็กๆด้วย |

เมื่อเราไปถึงครั้งนี้ เราได้เห็นเด็กๆเหล่านี้ได้รับประทานอาหาร ใต้โรงอาหารที่มีหลังคาที่มั่นคงแข็งแรง |

| The aim of the group was to finish the unfinished building. We need to build two walls and we inform them that we need to arrange to bring up the cement block. Since we did not get any reply we had to go these without any cement block. We tried but we could not get any. So they had to make the walls using bamboo. |

ความประสงค์ของคณะนี้คือ ต้องการมา ต่อเติมกำแพงอีกสองด้านที่ค้างอยู่ให้เสร็จ เราได้แจ้งคณะนี้ว่า เราต้องการอิฐบล็อคและจัดส่งให้ไปถึงหอพักล่วงหน้าก่อน แต่ไม่มีคำตอบใดๆ เราจึงต้องก่อกำแพงโรงอาหารโดยใช้ไม้ไผ่เป็นโครงสร้าง |
| While the guys did heavy work the gals were working with the children |

While the guys worked on the cement work we and the boy students cut wood to build table with benches. We had been thinking on this for quite a while but did not start it. This is the good time to do.
ขณะที่คณะฝ่ายชายกำลังทำงานเกี่ยวกับการผสมปูนก่อกำแพงอยู่ เราและเด็กโตบาง ส่วนเริ่มเลื่อยไม้ เพื่อที่จะทำเก้าอี้และโต๊ะอาหาร เรามีความคิดนี้มานานแล้ว แต่ไม่ได้ทำสักที ครั้งนี้ถือว่าได้โอ กาสพอดี

| The team rested on Sunday. Hostel boys wanted to play together with the guys but they could not communicate due to the language barrier. |

คณะพักผ่อนในวันอาทิตย์ ส่วนเด็กผู้ชายบางส่วนต้องการเล่นกับคณะผู้ชาย แต่ก็มีอุปสรรคเรื่องการสื่อสารนิดหน่อย |

Now we have table and benches we need. We Also have walls all around. Now we do not worry about dogs and cows enter the kitchen at night
มื้อนี้เด็กๆมีโต๊ะและเก้าอี้สำหรับการรับประทานอาหาร, มีกำแพงทั้งสี่ด้าน ต่อไปนี้ปัญหาเรื่อสุนัข และวัวที่มาตอนกลางคืน คงจะหมดไป

| The building for dining is ready but we do not have the doors. We continued our journey to Klerday village. |

โรงอาหารใช้ได้แล้ว เหลือเพียงประด้านหน้าและด้านหลังเท่านั้น แต่เราต้องเดินทางต่อไปยังหมู่บ้านเคล่อเด(ซีแบร) |
| On the way we visited and prayed for the sick baby at Pah Lo Tah |

| In the morning the Plor Po hostel father started growing coffee plants and the children enjoyed helping him. |

เช้าวันใหม่ พ่อบ้านหอพักปลอโพเริ่มปลูกกาแฟที่เรานำไปให้ ในบริเวณหอพัก และเด็กๆก็สนุกกับการช่วยเหลือเขา |
| Today it was Buddhist holiday. So the school also had the school holiday. The young ladies in the team taught the kids in the KlerDay hostel. Children from Plaw Po hostel also went an learned the there. |

| Yong men in the team build the trail that come down from the road to the hostel because it is very badly slipery during rain. |

| In the evening we put on the light which we newly installed. The team distributed papers for putting on colour. |

| There Toby and Merwin prepared popcorn using kitchen pots and fire wood. |

ขณะนั้นโทบี้และเมอรวินได้เตรียมพ๊อพคอร์นให้เด็กๆ ด้วยหม้อแกงที่มีอยู่ในครัว และใช้ฟืนเป็นเชื้อเพลิง |

| Hostel father(La Ka)and the kids wake up at 5:30 every morning, prayed with them and started their morning work. |

พ่อบ้าน(ลาคา)และเด็กๆตื่นตอนตีห้าครึ่งทุกวัน. นมัสการพระเจ้า แล้วก็เริ่มกิจวัตรประจำเช้า

| Clean the house, clean the toilets, grow coffee plants that we brought. |
|
ทำความสะอาดบริเวณหอพัก, ล้างห้องน้ำ ปลูกกาแฟที่เรานำมาให้ |
| Evangelist (Kay) taught songs and Karen when time was available. |
|
ผู้รับใช้ฯ(เก๊ะ)ที่ไปกับเรา สอนเพลง และภาษากะเหรี่ยงให้เด็กๆ เมื่อเวลาอำนวย |
| Coffee plants already full inside hostel compound. So we went up to another place to plant . Children came along us. |

หลังจากเราปลูกต้นกาแฟ ในบริเวณหอพักจนเต็มแล้ว เราก็ไปปลูกในพื้นที่ข้างเคียง เด็กๆซึ่งได้วันหยุดก็ตามพวกเราไปด้วย |
| Before leaving Plaw Po, villagers and visiter thanked one another. |
